Malacca Trip 2008

My friends (Crystal and Edward) and I decided to go to Malacca for 2 days and 1 night when we were in KL. We went there in the morning by bus and when we reached Malacca Central, my friend, Wen How was there to pick us up. =) We arrived later than expected as we took the wrong bus. Well, we took the bus which stopped at Alor Gajah before reaching Malacca instead of a direct bus. There were so many cows when our bus drove along the roads at Alor Gajah. We took almost 2 hours to reach Malacca. We went straight to Wen How's house at Bukit Beruang to put our bags before he brought us around Malacca.

Before we started to tour around, we had lunch at the chicken rice ball shop.

We went to the historical places after our lunch. We spent our whole afternoon visiting historical places and some shopping malls.

We saw some very old Dutch graves along our way too.

It reminded me of my History back in secondary school.

For our dinner, we went to eat satay celup. It was very nice. 50 cents for one stick and Crystal was the winner because she ate the most. Haha

Benjamin was enjoying his food till he didn't want to look at the camera

The next morning, we went to eat dim sum for breakfast.

We also went to buy dodol and pineaple tarts to bring back to Kuching. Since I love to eat dodol, I bought 5 boxes back. Haha Last but not least, Wen How brought us to the Multimedia University for a visit before sending us back to Malacca Central. It was indeed a wonderful and memorable trip. Thanks to Wen How for being such a great host and tour guide!
